My GPU fan made horrible noises and decided its going to be slighly less reliable than British Rail.
I can find an exact replacement but at $38 + shipping that sucks goats.

There are plenty that look about right size wise but are only 2 wires, mine had 4 wires, so I can fit one and perma wire it, but will have no control of fan speed. Are there any decent and reasonably priced aftermarket coolers you guys would recommend, or any other suggestions.
It seems a bit harsh to sling a perfectly good 1gb card for the sake of what should be a 2 quid fan.

Before chucking it ... if you can peel off the label on the fan hub and have access to the spindle, try a spot of oil. Sometimes that is all it needs.

Otherwise, I've seen maplins stock small fans. Also could try quietpc.com.
