We've all got a shot that we class as our favourite, even if everyone else doesn't.

What photo that you've taken do you like best.

This is mine:

This is in Wales. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the town, only that it's got a railbridge you walk over (across an estuary) to get there and there is a scutty funfair in one part...

Anyway, yeah. I loved this boat.

Incidentally, this photo appears in my thread just down the way. I haven't taken a photo for ages now. Perhaps we should sort out some mini themed competitions to get people into snapping. It's recession beating free and relaxing fun!

I really like this one because it's a composite of about 5 shots and I love the way it turned out after the filters. I got a print done of it and it looks awesome :D

Also this, even though it bugs me that I didn't straighten the horizon before uploading :P

But yeah, same as gwil ain't taken owt for ages. There are some photogenic goldfinches patronising my garden at the moment... might try and snap 'em :D

Not a great pic by any means, and it's been thumped around by the jpeg stick as I lost the original but - it's my favourite.

The lion in the side-car is probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen.

I've just started messing with Photomatix for HDR, I'd say these are my favourites in that "genre", (too hard to choose from my other pics)

I'll add this one below as a "normal" favourite though. Having finally seen it on a wall in a local exhibition, (amongst 7 others of mine), this one stands out the most.

perisicope attachment for the last photo ? I would say my favourite is probably the first as well, because I think a stunning colour shot is more difficult ? I don't want to say it's easier to get a good b&w shot, because that's not what I mean. I hope you know what I mean :o)

my biggest downfall has always been not so much blur to be honest (as someone said b4, as being the biggest picture killer), but the light. light is everything and when you go around and take pictures at a certain time, you can't rewind or forward wind the sun :/

nothing spectacular as those above, but this one is a favourite of mine. prolly cos i'll never ever forget going for a dip in that ice pool. so it's more sentimental than technical really.

piccy rink

I've had such a gap in time in taking photos (20 odd years) i've kinda lost the plot and in the main they look so dull, like when I first started out :/. Half of it is because I still haven't mastered the camera yet. I know what I want, but it's pressing the right buttons to get it !!

That last pic of mine was using the canon 10-22mm lens. I love using it, as it can get really help to get some great angles in.

Mongrel: Is that a home studio set-up? I really like the lighting there. No harsh shadows or anything. A class set of shots.

Thanks man, that's very much appreciated :) I've actually got my own photographic studio in London Docklands which I tend to use a lot over Winter. Now that we're getting some more daylight i'll be out and about in the early morning's taking some more (mostly) natural light stuff.

To be honest because I don't shoot the same landscapes / scenes that everyone else does i'm never entirely sure of the reaction i'll get. I'll post some other shots from that model later on though to see if there are any opinion's :paperbag:
