How many British poker pros (or amateurs who have appeared in TV events) can you list, and what games do they play?

This comes from a discussion myself and monie where having earlier about Pot Limit vs No Limit for crowning the world champion of poker.

British card rooms tend to favour Pot Limit for the weekly tournaments, monie believes this to be the reason why we see too few British players ranking in WSOP and other such events.

Theres a few British players on the WSOP Millionares club 2004

1990 WSOP winner Mansour Matloubi (London) with 15 money finishes in WSO, Julian Gardiner (Manchester) with 45 money finishes.

Then theres Dave Devilfish however it seems he hasn't placed in enough WSOP events or broke the $1mil mark yet.

Devilfish hasnt broken the $1m mark? i find that hard to believe since in one event alone he took home almost $600k.

That was WSOP winning, he's never broken the $1m winning mark in a WSOP event, I believe that is saying.

Example, in 2004 he placed 72nd netting him only $30,000. He's done rather well in other events however.

ch4 used to show that, I watched it for a while, trying to learn.

ch4 need to bring back the whole Do Not Sleep thing, with Bits and Late Night Poker and Mark Kermode introducing trashy movies. It was ace.

I was quite impressed with Tony Bloom and John Shipley.
