Okay I'm finally patching up... I need some names and realms :D. Probably be on Al'Akir just to start with as that's where all my current characters are. Also, what faction on which server :o

My two main ones are Jarlaxle on Al'Akir which you know, and Zalindra on Quel'Thelas which is horde - blood elf mage, but I guess you're not allowed into Quel'Thelas (the place, not the server! where the blood elf city and lowbie areas are) without burning crusade.

Nah I don't play bf1942, supertimo reminds me of superted which was great. I don't even know where the dark portal is yet. Impulse purchase or what.

Something I found very useful once I hit the Outlands was to go to Shattrath getting all the necessary flight points along the way. It's no sweat at 60. This has the only bank I know of in Outlands, and free portals to the 3 major cities in Azeroth which are handy as there are no trainers or Auction houses in Outlands.

Flight points here (map spoiler);

It's awesome, so much more than I hoped for even.

I quit WoW some months before the xpac, thinking I wouldn't get back into. In the end in bought it to just have a looksey if it was any good... and.. I'm really into it again, it offers so much more than the classic version did for casual players. While questing and instancing in Outlands you really feel like your getting good and proper gear, it's not a pile of crap drops like it used to be. :D

I've quit WoW twice now but I'm glad I'm back for TBC. It's much more polished than Azeroth. It's got decent spawn rates, plenty of short instances, masses of soloable content, flying mounts, excellent gear drops and quest rewards and more. it also doesn't seem to suffer from those utterly awful quests which had to running from Ungoro crater to pick one flower in the Hinterlands to return again etc etc. Faaar less pissing about. It's all much more... immediate. The quests are well timed to lead you from area to the next and on to the next zone at the right time, the quests have good descriptions so there's much less wondering where the hell you're supposed to go.

Dunno what it's like over 65 yet though, but until then it's been great. Not done pvp either.

I'm ashamed to say I'm loving it (except every few times I log on, it crashes to desktop and refuses to let me back on until I delete my wtf folder, meaning I have to reconfigure all my mods/interface/video settings. Which really sucks).

I'm levelling a blood elf slowly, while taking my 60 mage through all the quests I never did in silithus / scholo / strat. Which at least means decent xp!

Same as they say really.

I quit about a year ago and thought I'd never come back. I tried it again in October and couldn't get back into it, only played for a few days before cancelling again.
Then TBC came out and I thought I'd give it a go, and I'm bloody hooked again. Really enjoying questing in outland, solo'd up to lvl 61, not even grouped at all yet, it's all very well designed.

Also loving my blood elf mage too, 20 already. Although saying that, playing the blood elf was great in their new start zone, but now I'm 20 I'm out of quests, so I can only really do all the zones and quests I've done before now... so not sure how that's gonna pan out... We shall see.
