I got accused of buying my account of ebay \o/ Some purple itemz lolz snob didn't like my 60 hunter having no epics apparently (mainly greens, 2 blues).

Ahh, it felt almost as good as getting called a cheat at TFC, except that was because I was playing well rather than I was dressed like a level 60 tramp, but whatever.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Account sharing to enable 24/7 grinding? Some AoE farming. 2 ice spec Mages working together are highly effective at this and can kill 10+ mobs easily in one go. Or 1 mage and a priest for shielding/healing.

The most remarkable thing is how he managed to grind during all the lag and general lack of mobs to kill at the early levels o_O. At 7pm last night it was almost unplayable and largely unquestable owing to everyone doing the same quests.

apparently it was AoE spam and yes his guild assisted him. i dont think all the servers were screwed. AA was definately one of the worst for 'lol server down'. i gave up after the 5th restart in 30 minutes. got silly.

By buffing him, debuffing mobs, dragging mobs to the place where he is and possibly many more activities I have no idea about ;). It was a well planned in advance task and team effort.

Agreed.

Now the silly little prick is going to sat on his hands thinking hmm what should I do, since he can't enter any bg either, since they have split them up haven't they?

Some q's about flying mounts...

1) What level do you have to be to buy one?
2) How much do the mounts and training cost?
3) Are they usable outside the Outlands (Azeroth)?
4) Where do you buy them?

TIA :D

I presume 7000 is for the epic flying mounts? I think I'll take the Fiat Uno option if there is one...

I do not understand why you are so negative to this event and to person you do not know. After reading his description of the event it looks that he is a nice guy enjoying this game like many others. It was not "sitting non-stop 12 days in diaper on the comp" event - frankly speaking looking at the time played it was something many raiders are used to do on every week basis.

For people who played this game in all possible ways few times, including BC in beta, it was a lot of fun - definitely it was much more challenging then ganking lowbies by epiced pricks. What he will do? As he told will play with other toon in the "casual" way, or maybe will play other game or whatever.

Non-gamers usually call us losers and tells "get life". Let us not be so fast in telling this to others ;).

Well now I'm not confused, but misinformed somewhere along the way :) People were discussing it in general last night and the figures of 1k and 5k for flying mounts were used without anyone contradicting. It's possible that the costs are 1k for the standard mount and 1k for the training, 5k for the epic mount and 2k for the training. I honestly don't know, I'm guessing.

Via, somehow I knew you would respond but bare in mind other people have their opinions and views.

An expansion comes out and within hours of powerleveling ding the person is 70, I bet he/she hasn't even seen a quarter of the extra content just striving to be the first to 70, that in itself is something you could admire from one angle but wheres the FUN in that, everyone has different ideas of fun but to me and as Baratoz rightly sad in our opinion and view its extremely sad.

Not really hard to do what they did if you are online 24/7 and sharing an account.

Now all they have to do is repeat it again times the number of the people in the guild nows there's something to look forward to.

Wading right back in with info about mounts here, costs are as follows;

lvl 40 riding skill (lvl 75), 90g
lvl 60 epic riding skill (lvl 150), 600g
lvl 70 flying mount skill (lvl 225), 800g
lvl 70 epic flying mount skill (lvl 300), 5000g

In order to get each skill you must have bought the one before, so costs are cumulative.

lvl 70 flying mount, 100g
lvl 70 epic flying mount, 200g

Discounts for faction are not uncluded above.

Therefore the TOTAL all time cost for an epic flying mount, excluding the cost of buying any other mount, is 5000 + 800 + 600 + 90 + 200 = 6690g, without discounts.

Assuming you already have an epic riding mount then it's 6000g for an epic flying mount you can actually ride. For a normal flying mount if you already have en epic riding mount then it's 900g.

You may wish to note that a standard flying mount will give you a 60% speed boost on land and in the air, but an epic flying mount will give you a 100% speed boost on land, but 280% in the air.

Druids can get the Stormcrow flying ability at level 68 which is equivalent speed to a standard flying mount (60%). No idea what they have to go through to get it.
