Anyone out there a blacksmith?

On an alt warrior I have blacksmithing at 225 and am still undecided which path to go down, either it be armour smithing or weapon smithing.

Anyone know which is the best path to take or at least some advice so I can decide what I want to do?

Thanks in advance.

depends if you craft for yourself or others tbh :)
just dont do hammersmith because its craptastic.
im not sure how well weapons sell but armour seems to sell well.
dont take my word for it though get a blacksmith to advise you :)

I will ask Roorback when he gets home from work, think he is a weaponsmith but I could be lying.

I'm a weaponsmith (swordsmith in fact) and I have found it very hard to sell weapons in the past, if only for the fact that they cost so much to make that you have to put large price tags on them, but people won't pay those price tags because they can get better weapons as drops.

I'm silently holding out in the hope that the 1.10 epic world drop recipes will prove to be items that will justify the huge cost to make :D

Armorsmith can make a lot and usefull things. Weaponsmiths...well... there are much better weapons out there then the stuff we can make. Not to mention the ridiculous pricetag there is. Only weapon I make on a regular basis is "dawns'edge". I have never ever made a heartseeker or any of the dark iron weapons. They are nice, but the mats are just insane.

Ma WFM Paladin on Stormrage is a blacksmith. I plan to specialise him in crafting armors. Reasoning is that I expect armors part to sell better than weapons, because you can get your hands on fine weapons through quests and drops already.
