Anyone else still foolish enough to follow this shambles? First day of the final pre-season test today. At least it'll be a different German winning this year, and watching Vettel fail to make the 107% rule will be worth it.

The best nose of the year?

For a team seemingly almost bankrupt and hemorrhaging staff they seem to keep coming up with some fantastic innovations each year.

Now, please cover your eyes:

Seriously, who the fuck let that happen? Did they just crash some older cars into each other and paint over the wreckage?

And Force India looking good to be the ladies' favourite this season:

Funky rear suspension on the Macca

Mercedes to win everything, Rosberg champion? Will that be the obvious outcome?

Kimi to take a dump in Alonso's car on the grid 2 mins before the warm up lap?

Everyone finally realising Bernie is actually one of the lizard people, just in a Tesco Value shirt?

I think anybody but a German will win this year. Same with the cars, a Mercedes victory is a thumbs up for good ol' blighty.

I am surprised you let the Ferrari get away without a mention for their 'penile receptor' where a baby formula might be born this year if it is involved in any kind of head-on penetration with another car.

As for Bernie, well if he doesn't finally go Loco I'll be disappointed. I'm still waiting for his super-toup to fly off and cause some kind of start line calamity. Here's hoping the Ferraris are facing the right way.

PS yeah the engines, you hear them? You see what you did now with your relevance crap, big car manufacturers of the world?

as long as it's not Red Bore then I'm happy - looking forward to some increased unreliability frankly
That's The REVEREND Dr. Kazza to you.

I agree Kazaa, trouble is they then went and stipulated that each driver is only allowed 5 engines for the entire season. Coupled with strict fuel limits it feels more like things are going to be ultra conservative until they find their feet at least. I am also concerned how it's going to work with the 3 practice sessions but on the other hand each engine has to clock up at least 2,500 miles minimum as I understand it so that may force them to put some miles on in practice.

It's all very open and confusing at this stage.

Really? Can't see who is going to stop Nico. Certainly not the playboy on the other side of the garage; he could get by back in the balls-out V10 days but is pants at the modern slowest-to-P1 rubbish.

Kimi and Alonso are blatantly going to get in each other's way even if the Ferrari turns out to be decent over a race distance.

Kev Magnussen is a bit of a wildcard. Don't think Jense is fast enough but his consistency could be valuable given unreliability.

Dunno about that but the respective race performances last year told a different tale as far as I'm concerned. Hamilton has surrounded himself with distractions virtually since day one so that's nothing new. In fact don't you think that is part of the reason he bailed on McLaren as they tried to nicely usher out all of his homies and make Hamilton focus on getting his shit together?

The big unknown I suppose is reliability and how the drivers cope with the very different demands of driving these things as they will have to unlearn a lot. Rather them than me to be honest.

Amen to the Ferrari quandary though. That has all the ingredients to be a brilliant pairing. I want to see them battling most of all.

I'm excited about Williams too, we desperately need them in a healthy position. It's all very topsy-turvy at the moment. Which is good.

I've just completley lost interest in F1 over the last couple of years; I'd watch the races and get bored after about 20 minutes. I don't know what's changed as I've loved followed F1 for over 20 years but I just can't stick it any more :/

MotoGP for me, or maybe not as it's moved to BT Sport or whatever.

I can appreciate the engineering porn, but the racing is dull as dishwater.

I miss that high pitch scream they made. Monaco will never be the same.
