Yes, you're right, a lot of images will bypass any content filter that relies on blacklist words or websites. And of course you can't control what they see once they leave your house and visit their friends.

But my kids seeing pictures of a dildo, tbh I wouldn't be bothered. I am not in general against my teen kids seeing nudity or, if I'm honest soft porn. It's in the same thing boat as alcohol. They're going to be experiencing it one day (alcohol, sex etc).

However, what I am not happy about them seeing is all the stuff that's beyond soft core. There is stuff out there that would revile a teenager.

So, rather than push it away and ignore, just control it's introduction. So, for example, since the kids were 10-12 we've be fine with our kids drinking wine/beer at home, for example with meals and parties etc. And to be fair, they're not now gagging to go out and get blind drunk. I've often picked up my daughter (now 17) from parties, who's quite level headed and doesn't get blind drunk, whilst some of her friends are chucking their guts up at parties .. and once out of my car window after giving them a lift. I'd like to think that was because we didn't make alcohol a Taboo.

no I was more referring to kiwi's post about finding stuff but not any more because of the internet

Like I was demonstrating that that is a thing that still happens and is easier to document now so win/win

Just a thought, are there not any of these DNS services that simply operate a per-user whitelist?

Yeah I think he's saying all Scousers are paedos or something. You gonna take that from this punk?

Still, it's a step up from when Freddy Boswell ruled the streets.
