I also had flu a few months back (first time in about 15 years). It's basically like being rolled up in a sweaty sock and smashed with tiny hammers. None of the symptoms are amazingly bad on their own but they're basically like the Power Rangers of ill-health. A total cunt when they combine.

I basically spent 7 days in bed sleeping and another couple lounging around feeling sorry for myself. Total shite.

Purveyor of idiot bullshit driving culture films dies in a (probably) idiot bullshit driving inferno.

Number of zealot talentless driving cunts on the roads = nyah, about the same.

Rest in melted bodywork, dude.

Doesn't really make much difference in my head, they all seem to drive like bellends and knowingly get in cars of others who over-estimate their abilities too, they even promote bellend driving culture in their ridiculous films, I suppose the saving grace is no bystanders were mown down. 120 or so in a 45 zone was it?

It's funny in GTA but I think no joke when it's these pricks on public roads in their bent-chassis waynemobiles racing on the cheap.

Still, at least he did it for charidee mate, I've sponsored him by the number of forensic samples needed for ID purposes.

Kiwi got it - Although technically, playing by the rules, he didn't.

Getting rid of Apartheid seems like a good thing, but a lot of what Nelson Mandela said as he got old was a bit 'Being There' by my reckoning. I imagine I stand alone with that view, but I can't say I've ever heard anything particularly 'inspirational' from him over the years, that almost everyone didn't agree with already. And in all honesty it was massive international pressure far more than internal pressure that sorted out SA.

Winnie Mandela's past has been given a good rewriting though. Her football team and general zaniness seems to have been all but excised from history. Phew! Could have been embarrassing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necklacing

1 Dunlop Sport + 1 Gal Unleaded = Democracy

Anyway, good on the old guy for what he put up with, and he got rid of the mad old cow anyway - There'll be a few less crazy shirts in the world.

Those Tom Sharpe books though...

I'm sure Nelson's arrest in the sixties was all just a big misunderstanding and the police were really sent out to arrest Winnie. It was all just a case of mistaken identity.

Not a very understandable mistake given those trousers. And those hats.

didn't realise he was 95. Considering his past thats one hell of an innings at the crease.

World is a slightly worse place without him, but the sudufrikans are pretty much on the right path to doing 'the right thing'. There are still problems over there though, and still some deep divides to address and overcome.

Lots of people with a flagrant disregard for how this works.

In that case, Lenny Henry's joke book. 1988 wasn't that long ago was it?
